Don't get me wrong I'm not all complaints. I like this router, its actually my second. The first

WRT54 series I had lasted for 3-4 years without any problems (once setup right), then I think

a power surge took it out. And I've had my current WRT54GS for a year or so without any

problems.

Things I like about this router and why I continue to use it is because the security is tight as

a drum and easy to setup. I'm using WPA encryption, hidden SSID + Mac filtering through

a secure setup page and it was easy to setup. This router is also fairly reliable (once setup

right), it will stay online for months without any interruption in performance where I found

some routers require the power being cycled to maintain a fast connection....

I'd rate this router a 3.5/5 stars or whatever. There are a lot more sophisticated options for

the gurus and a lot more user friendly options for the novices. But it does what its supposed

to when its supposed to (once setup right)

The router works perfectly for my DS.

The only adjustment I made was to change the channel to 11.

The range is good and works with a laptop, Wii, and DS

I would give the router a 4 due to its reliability.

This router worked great after resetting to factory defaults and setting up from scratch. At

first it wouldn't work at all. The Wii would see it in the list of AP's, but it could never get a

connection test to pass (getting the generic error 52130, 52131, or 52132 depending on

which wireless profile I was using). After trying many combos of channels, manual config,

and security on the router I finally just reset it to factory defaults using the reset button in
